RETURNS
To see if you are eligible for a refund or return, please read our policy thoroughly. In order to return a product it must be unopened & unused, in all original packaging, with all accessories in the same condition that you received it.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and you will receive a store credit towards a future purchase.
Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded for a store credit, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
All inks, printers, & tattoo machines are final sale.
To Begin the Return Process
Please contact our customer service, help@darkcommoditytattoo.com to obtain a return authorization number. When requesting a return, ensure you provide the following information for expedited service:
- Your name
- Order number
- Item to return
- Reason for return
Once you have the Return Authorization number, choose a shipping service to ensure the item reaches us within 14 days. Securely package the product with adequate filler in an appropriate shipping box.
Ship the package to Dark Commodity Tattoo Co. using a trackable shipping method or acquire shipping insurance to minimize potential complications.
Return Authorization Number: Issuing a return authorization number does not guarantee automatic approval for a refund / credit. Approval is contingent upon the inspection of the returned goods. The return authorization number only indicates that your item is eligible for return not that the refund has been approved. If your package lacks a Return Authorization number, it will be refused, and you’ll be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email or reach you by phone to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund credit.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and you will receive a store credit towards a future purchase and a 15% restocking fee will be applied.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We recommend use a shipping method with a tracking number for your return, we are not responsible for lost return shipments.
Out of Box Failures / Defects
Equipment that fails within the first 14 days of being received will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Refer to the defective/damaged product for guidance. Return shipping costs may be your responsibility. Use a shipping method with a tracking number for your return.
Non-Returnable Items: any opened / used products are non refundable.
Additional non-refundable and non-returnable items:
- Ink, Printers & Tattoo Machines
- Sale Items
- Gift Cards
- Undergarments (ex. socks)
- Clearance Items (used/open box)

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Unfortunately, once your order leaves our building it becomes your responsibility to track your package status. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen packages, however you can contact your carrier directly to report a lost or stolen package.
To reduce the risk of lost or stolen packages, we strongly recommend that you ship your order directly to your shop. Deliveries sent to a residential address don’t require a signature, and may be left unattended.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- If your package lacks a Return Authorization number, it will be refused, and you’ll be responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Do not ship the package in the manufacturer’s box; use an appropriate shipping box with adequate fillers to prevent damage.
- We do not assume responsibility for lost packages, and we cannot guarantee the refund of returned items, accepting returned products will be done at our discretion.
Dark Commodity Tattoo Co. is not responsible for paying duties on returned goods, and any duties paid will not be refunded.
